In a series of posts tagged as "Favorite Finds", we want to share with you some of our favorite hangouts and experiences–proof that we do get out from behind our screens. (¬‿¬)

The Mrkt opened up a couple of months ago inside "The Reserve" business park in Playa Del Rey. It is a sister restaurant to the Patch which is nearby but this place, The Mrkt is the waaayy better looking sibling all around. Same owners but the interiors with fresh flowers on display and clean modern yet warm interior is such a welcoming experience that makes the Chia Seed pudding taste even more tasty. Also, the almond date shake is a smoother, buttery shake (sorry but it does taste better than the one also served at the Patch). Parking is a little hard to find but way worth going out of the way to eat at this delightful place. Lucky people who work close by!

There is a parking lot but you will have to take a ticket and pay $2 for 15 minutes. Or you can also park on the Coral Tree street behind Home Depot which is free and walk to Mrkt.
