On April 30-May 1, 2016, Story Spark participated at the Jackalope Art & Craft Fair and had a blast! As a newb (our first experience as a craft fair vendor), we were nervous but also extremely exciting to be a part of an encouraging and supportive community of artists and entreprenuers! Kudos to Jackalope's founders, Sara, Melissa and Laura, who ran a smooth and thoughtful fair! We hope to be accepted their next event. :)
The amount of support we had for our first event was very encouraging. We were fortunate to be able to share the experience with friends who came by to help convey our brand message and attract potential customers to our tech-inspired graphic t-shirts. It really helped to make the moments even more special.
It was at this event where we launched Story Spark's Spring 2016 line of products. Our brand new line of tech-inspired graphic t-shirts for kids made their debut along with womens tanks and dolman shirts that were highly received. We also had a good time sharing the story of some of our classic best-selling mens tees like the Yin Yang Tech and Bar Code.
Meeting customers is definitely one of the high points of the weekend. Customers who purchased tees as gifts for someone they know in tech or for themselves was thrilling. We particularly loved learning about their various tech backgrounds and what made them stop by our booth.
Being present at the Jackalope Fair definitely reinforced our brand mission. The importance of making that face-to-face connection is something that cannot be replaced. Interacting with the people who took the time to stop by and exchange stories was priceless. It is that type of positive sharing that inspired the creation of our brand, and we hope to share it more with others as Story Spark continues. If you have any comments or would like to share your story, please add them below. We'd love to hear from you.
Before you go - please save the date: May 29, 2016. Story Spark will be at the Patchwork Show in Santa Ana, CA. Hope to see you there!
